In January 2014 Brian Kloss attended his first Comic Con in Portland, OR and hung out with Ryan Bruce, the identical (and simiarly talented) twin brother of Travis Bruce. Brian designed and commissioned several custom illustrations for celebrity autographs in preparation for the event. Here Brian Kloss is dressed as Spiderman with his all-time hero Stan Lee! Dr. Kloss has been selected to present a lecture “Teaching Toxicology Using Comic Illustration” at the Annual Graphic Medicine Conference at John’s Hopkins Medical School in Baltimore, MD on June 27, 2014.
